Holle Organic Goats Milk Formula can be used to continue after breastfeeding or after using a Stage 1 or Stage 2 infant formula. It is made of 99% organically produced ingredients. The organic milk used in the formula is from goats which have been kept in their natural environment. Holle Organic Goats Milk Follow-On Formula is easy to digest, gluten free and contains no added sugar or cow's milk. Holle Organic Formula Infant Goat Milk Follow-on Formula is made from organic goat's milk and suitable for the nutrition of infants from the 6th month. Grazing the goats on lush biodynamic fields and pastures is the reason for the superior quality of the milk used in Holle's premium baby food.
Cows and Goats proteins are different, with Goats proteins much easier to digest then cows. Many babies thrive on goats milk and all tests should be done including goats milk before moving on to a HA formula.
Holle Organic Goat Milk Follow-On Formula 2 is suitable for infants from 6 months' of age who are already taking one solid meal a day. It presents a good alternative to follow-on formula based on cow's milk.
Some of the protein structures in cow's and goat's milk are the same. Children with a cow's milk allergy may thus also not be able to tolerate Holle Organic Goat Milk. In such cases individual testing should take place; children with pronounced allergies should only be tested in consultation with a pediatrician.
